11/4—Taisho Health Fair

Taisho Club plans to offer free flu vaccination at its annual health fair on Sunday, Nov. 4 from noon to 3 p.m. at Maryknoll Catholic Center, 222 S. Hewitt Street in Little Tokyo. Flu vaccine doses will be made available primarily to seniors over age 50 on a first come, first served basis.

In addition to flu shots, the health fair offers blood test to measure cholesterol count and Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) count for men.  Hearing test and eye examination will also be conducted free of charge.

Medical consultations will be also available to persons who have health concerns by volunteering Japanese language-speaking physicians from the Japanese Community Health, Inc. (JCHI). No appointments are necessary.
