Only a few spots this week, but there’s some really good stuff, especially about Kurt Suzuki. As always, comments are always welcome.

On the last day of the season, the Mariners celebrated like it was 2001. An interesting side note, of their 85 victories this year, Seattle was 35-20 in one-run games. That means 41% of the Mariners wins came by a single run.

The race for the Rolex Player of the Year award is heating up on the LPGA. Ai Miyazato currently sits in fourth.

Ryo Ishikawa gets ready for the President’s Cup starting today (Thursday).
