Scenes from Tokyo City Cup

The the 10th running of the Tokyo City Cup took place at Santa Anita Racetrack on Saturday, March 27. On a day that celebrated Japanese culture with sumo wrestlers and samurai and taiko and shamisen performances, a Japanese American took the top prize. Co-owners Jimmy Ukegawa and Scott Anastasi saw their gelding, Tap It Light, claim its first stakes win and the $60,000 prize money. For the complete story, follow the link.
