SFVJACC Establishes Relief Fund

PACOIMA — The San Fernando Valley Japanese American Community Center (SFVJACC) has engaged in a fundraising drive to assist the victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.

The JET (Japan Earthquake and Tsunami) Relief Fund is intended to raise as much money as quickly as possible to be sent directly to Japan. It is scheduled to run for one year.

All donations are tax-deductible under the 501(c)3 provisions of the federal tax code.  SFVJACC is tax-exempt under both state and federal laws.

The fund has been endorsed by Richard Alarcon, who represents District 7 on the Los Angeles City Council.

Deliver or mail donations to: SFVJACC, 12953 Branford St., Pacoima, CA 91331. Make checks payable to “JET Relief Fund.”
