Nominees for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards were announced July 14 at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood.
Among this years nominees:
Kirk H. Shintani for animation in the main title of HBO’s “Game Of Thrones”;
“Saturday Night Live” production designer Akira Yoshimura for outstanding art direction for variety, music or nonfiction programming;
Marci Ichimura, compositor for the miniseries “Mildred Pierce” on HBO, for special visual effects for a miniseries, movie or special;
Hiroshi Yada, prosthetic designer for the Fox series “Glee,” for prosthetic makeup for a series, miniseries, movie or special.
The Primetime Emmys will be handed out in a televised ceremony on Sept. 18, with awards for technical and creative arts presented on Sept. 10.
