The Chris Paul Air Jordan CP3.VI Nitro shoe release held on Oct. 21 at the Los Angeles Fire Academy in Elysian Park was a fun-filled family event open to the public.
It was the premiere of a new basketball shoe that was developed for Clippers star Chris Paul. The shoe was designed for top traction and inspired by Paul’s love of the L.A. street race scene and urban lifestyle.
The event gave fans a chance to try out the new Air Jordan CP3.VI, and test it out through a special dribbling and shooting course. The brightly colored CP3.VI Nitro was on display with similarly color-schemed modified cars by Tjin and custom scooters by Rucksters.
Oct. 21, 2012 was named “CP3 Day” as Paul received his proclamation from the City of Los Angeles.
