“Chillin’ the Night Away,” a dance fundraiser to benefit the programs of Visual Communications, will be held Saturday, May 31, at 6:30 p.m. at Nishi Hongwanji Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles.
Live music will be provided by Kokoro from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. Toru Nagao will teach cha cha line dancing.
Tickets are $65 per person or $650 per table for VIPs, $40 in advance or $50 at the door for individuals. Unlimited chili bar dinner for VIPs with wristband. Drink tickets available for the cash bar. $5 tickets available for individual bowls of chili.
The dance committee consists of Doug Aihara, Wendy Aihara, Carol Tanita, Rick Katsuki, Robi Shibao, Jane Murakami, Susan Soohoo, Tracy Okita, Carrie Morita, Pauline Shimizu and Wayne Nagao.
