The 12th Rising Stars Annual Miniature Golf Tournament and Fundraiser on Saturday, March 7, will start off with a bang at 9 a.m. at the Camelot Golfland, 3200 E. Carpenter Ave., Anaheim.
Come and meet the competition and enjoy a delicious continental breakfast to keep you in tip-top mini-golfing shape. Even if you do not win, each participant will receive a goodie bag and prizes.
Not a morning person? Come down in the afternoon to enjoy some salad, pizza, and drinks. The youth program also features a raffle with awesome prizes such as a mini iPad, Disneyland tickets, a GoPro, and much, much more. Be sure to purchase raffle tickets for $2 from any Rising Star member or at the tournament. All funds will be put directly towards the Rising Stars Youth Leadership Program next year.
Admission prices at the door are $15 for kids and $20 for adults. Lunch only (non-golfers) is $10. Entry includes continental breakfast and a pizza lunch with drinks. Go to the website for golf entry forms at http://www.nikkeifederation.org/golf/.
The Rising Stars Youth Leadership Program was established in 2003 and strives to teach high school students vital life skills, including persuasive speaking, networking, and more. Many influential speakers have taught these life-long abilities, as well as about the Asian American community. This mini-golf tournament gives the students the opportunity to put these skills into action, so come out and have a great fun-filled day!
