SEBASTOPOL — Enmanji Buddhist Temple, 1200 Gravenstein Hwy. South in Sebastopol, will hold its Obon Festival/Feast of the Lanterns on Saturday, July 18.

The dancing will begin at 7 p.m. and will end about 9:30 p.m.

The Dharma School will be selling refreshments that will include udon, hot dogs, soft drinks, cupcakes and coffee. The Buddhist Women Association will be making a Japanese pastry known as Imagawa yaki.

Ensohza, a Japanese folk ensemble, will share their musical talents during the Obon dancing. Sonoma County Taiko will perform during the intermission.

Dance practice will be held on Thursday and Friday, July 16-17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Memorial Hall. Everyone is invited to come to the practices. No experience is necessary.
