The 70th commemorative service (tsuitouki) for the victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombs will be observed on Sunday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. at Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. First St. in Little Tokyo.

The American Society of Hiroshima/Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Survivors (ASA), Koyasan Buddhist Temple and Japanese American Cultural and Community Center will co-sponsor the memorial service in front of the Hiroshima Peace Flame.

The guest speaker will be photojournalist Darrell Miho, who will speak about “War and Peace.”
