GARDENA — Learn how memory works, the changes in memory as we age, and tips on how to maintain and improve memory at the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute, 1964 W. 162nd St. in Gardena, on Saturday, July 18, at 2 p.m.

Kimiko Kelly, the Asian Pacific Islander services and community education manager of the Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter, will be the speaker. She has worked with the API community for many years in outreach and education in various areas of health and wellness.
