south bay focusTORRANCE — The Torrance Art Museum (TAM), 3320 Civic Center Dr. North in Torrance, invites the public to attend the opening reception of its annual South Bay Focus exhibition on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The reception is free to the public with no RSVP necessary.

A curator walk-through with juror Maurizzio Hector Pineda will start at 5 p.m.

“South Bay Focus” is a contemporary and traditional art juried exhibition presented in conjunction with the Torrance Artists Guild and the South Bay Watercolor Society. SBF is open to all artists living or working in the South Bay area, including Long Beach and San Pedro.

More than 80 artists have been selected, including Alvin Takamori, Beth Shibata, Hung Viet Nguyen, Hyewon Yoon, Lynne Mori, Michiko Ito, Milton Quon, Nina Ogura, Parrish Nelson Hirasaki, Shoko Watanabe, Eunsil Jeoung, John Choy, Som Vilaysack and Steven Fujimoto.

The exhibition runs until Dec. 11. The museum is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, visit www.torranceartmuseum.com.
