mottainai yogaDue to popular demand, new dates for traci ishigo’s “Mottainai Spirit” yoga class have been added: Saturday, April 2, 9, and 16, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Japanese American National Museum, 100 N. Central Ave. in Little Tokyo.

“Mottainai” means “Don’t be wasteful” in Japanese. In this three-session yoga and meditation workshop for all levels, the certified yoga instructor invites participants to harness their own inner energy to prevent body, mind, and spirit from going to waste.

Participants can expect each one-hour class to be both restorative and invigorating, with opportunities to practice deep stretches as well as gentle, strength-building standing and balancing poses
