March 17 — The experience of the islands invades Little Tokyo when the beautiful dancers from Kanani Kalama Hula Studio hit center stage. They’ll be performing on Saturday, March 17, at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (Nishi) in Little Tokyo.
Sponsored by the Nisei Week Hospitality Committee, the luau festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Emcees for the evening will be actresses Tamlyn Tomita and Amy Hill.
Luau tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children under 12 years old. Corporate tables of 10 are available for $400. The Nisei Week Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so donations are tax-deductible. Make checks out to the Nisei Week Foundation and mail them c/o Fukui Mortuary, 707 E.
