Sept. 9 — The public is invited to a panel discussion on the ongoing recovery and relief efforts in northeast Japan from journalists and volunteers who have recently visited the devastated areas.
The panelists will talk about their experience in the Tohoku region and discuss some of the current issues and needs that they have encountered. Photos and videos about the survivors and the current situation will be shown, followed by a Q&A session for the public to ask questions. Tina Tajima, from the Disaster Support Project (Japan), will moderate the discussion.
