Betty Emiko Okubo - Rafu Shimpo

Betty Emiko Okubo, age 91, passed away on April 25, 2021.

Makuragyo service was held on Tuesday, May 11, officiated by Bishop Noriaki Ito of Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple.

She is survived by daughter, Dorothy Tamiko (James) Nakagawa; sons, Ronald Mitsuyoshi (Cynthia) and Albert Norio Okubo; grandchildren, Tammi T. (Jason) Le and Reece E. and Royce T. Okubo; great-grandchildren, Xander and Aria Le; sisters, Haruko (Mike) Watabe of Arizona, Elsie Okazaki of Hawaii, and Fumi (George) Nakamura; brother, Richard Sasaki of Hawaii; also survived by many other relatives.

In lieu of the customary token of appreciation, a donation will be made to Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple of Los Angeles.
