Dodgers to Host Annual JA Community Night
Monday, Sept. 10, 2007

The Los Angeles Dodgers will host its annual Japanese American Community Night on Tuesday, Sept. 25. The Dodgers will play the Colorado Rockies as they’ll be competing for a playoff spot in the National League. Prior to this game, starting at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Dodgers will have a pre-game ceremony, including a taiko performance, karate demonstration, introduction of the 2007 Nisei Week court, along with some other community representatives, and a special VIP guest throwing out the first pitch.
Here is a fundraiser opportunity for groups, organizations, sorority/fraternity, churches, teams, etc. Groups of 30 or more will be able to purchase tickets at half price, and costs will vary depending on seat location, and then, you can sell your tickets to friends/families/colleagues at a price increase, and on that Tuesday, you can all enjoy the game together.
All groups in attendance will be recognized on the Diamondvision board. For more information on the event, please call John “JT” Tamaki at (323) 394-5106 and to order group tickets, please contact Afton Kurth with the L.A.
