On Sunday, Oct. 5, the Okinawa Association of America held their annual Bazaar in Gardena. It offered something for the whole family: food, fun and culture. There were all the famous Okinawan favorites, like Okinawan soba, dango, and chicken and beef bento. They also had plants for sale, a bonsai exhibition and a children’s tent area with many games and prizes. There was also a special Shorin-ryu karate demonstration done by the Okinawan Budokai.
