A private memorial service for the late Mr. George Kojaku, 93-year-old Berkeley-born Nisei and long-time resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on June 5, 2012, was held on Monday, June 11 at the Mercy Retirement & Care Center in Oakland, officiated by the Rev. Michael Yoshii of Buena Vista United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Florence Teruko Kojaku (née Hasegawa), son Lawrence, and nieces and nephews.
