Family service for Glenn Haruo Yokoyama, 82, a Maui-born Sansei and veteran of the Korean War who passed away on May 7 at the Good Samaritan Hospital after a lengthy illness, was held on Sunday, May 20, at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Yasuko; sons, Gregg (Susan) and Mark (Phuong); grandchildren, Jordan, Jason, Kara and Justin; brother, Seichi Yokoyama; sisters, Thelma (Frank) Komeya, Tsuyuko (David) Nakagawa, Sueko (Kenneth) Kaneshiro, all of Hawaii, and Janice (Allen) Arisue; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
