Funeral services for the late Mr. Haruki Yamagata, 96-year-old, Hiroshima, Japan-born, resident of San Gabriel, who passed away on May 2, will be held on Friday, May 15, 7 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary “ Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his wife, Toshiko Yamagata; son, Takehiro (Mieko) Yamagata; daughters, Keiko Lin and Tomiko (John) Higuchi; grandchildren, Michael Takeshi (Lisa), Brian Hiroshi, Chris Hiroki, Mark Kaito Yamagata, Ben Tsutomu Hayashi, Timothy Satoshi Lin, Eric Masayuki (Courtney) and Jason Kazuyuki Higuchi; two great-grandchildren; three sisters in Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and also in Japan.
