JAO Jamboree Puts on a Clinic

The 38th annual Japanese American Optimist Basketball Jamboree was held at Shurr High School Sunday. About 1,300 kids participated in skills clinics taught by past JAO youth basketball league alumni, including USC senior point guard Jaime Hagiya (right, center of photo). There were raffles, door prizes, and trophies awarded. Movin’ 93.9 FM was also on hand supplying upbeat tunes and free giveaways.
