A funeral service for Kazuko Asao, 91-year-old, Santa Monica, Calif.-born Nisei, resident of Venice, who passed away on Dec. 22, 2014 in Los Angeles, will be held on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, with Rev. Ron Kato from Light From the East (Toho No Hikari) officiating.

She is survived by her children, Connie (Neal) Yahata and Roger Asao; grandchildren, Tamiye, Tsuyoshi and Terumi Yahata; also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
