A funeral service for Robert Masayoshi Sakiyabu, 76-year-old, Fresno, Calif.-born Sansei, who passed away on Feb. 28, 2019 at Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital in Temple City, Calif., was held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Fukui Mortuary.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Akiko Sakiyabu; son, Duke (Susan) Sakiyabu; daughter, Sandy Sakiyabu, granddaughter, Fiona Sakiyabu; and sister, Alice (Tesshi) Aoyama; brother, Victor (Barbara) Takagi; also survived by many nieces nephews and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.
