He is survived by his wife, Eileen Fusaye Takemoto; children, Dr. Ronald (Jo Ann) Takemoto, Linda (Rex) Hayashi, and Dr. Mary Ann (Tony) Kwan; granddaughters, Tina and Grace Hayashi; sisters, Ayako Nakatani, Mitzi Okazaki, and Fusako (James) Morita; sister-in-law, Mickey (Bill) Yamaguchi; brother-in-law, Roy Vaughn; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives; predeceased by his sister, Suzuye Fukuzaki.
