Dodgers JA Community Night

The Los Angeles Dodgers, in conjunction with the Nisei Week Foundation, is inviting families and groups of the Japanese American community to come out for the annual L.A. Dodger’s Japanese American Community Night (JACN).

The JACN will take place on Wednesday, July 21 where the Dodgers will be squaring off against their long time division rivals the San Francisco Giants. The orange and black feature Japanese American Travis Ishikawa who platoons at first base.

The JACN will feature pregame festivities, including a special performance from Daion Taiko, a surprise guest throwing out the first pitch and a meet & greet with the beautiful 2009 Nisei Week Queen and Court in the “This is My Town” food section during the 1st inning.

Various discounted ticket prices are available for the community, including “This Is My Town” tickets, which give you a reserved level ticket, free t-shirt, and an all inclusive Japanese menu, plus hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and soft drinks for only $37.00.  The link to purchase tickets is Use the promo code: Japan.

The JACN is a great opportunity for organizations, clubs, teams and sororities/fraternities to use as a fundraiser.
