‘Japan Restart’: Charity Concert for Quake Relief

SAN FRANCISCO — “Japan Restart,” a charity concert for the Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund, will be held on Saturday, April 16, at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas, 1881 Post St. in San Francisco Japantown.

There will be two shows, from 12 to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m.

“Thousands of northern Japan earthquake and tsunami victims are still in survival,” said a concert organizer. “Being across the ocean, we can’t rebuild buildings, mend broken bones or make rice balls for them. However, this all-star team of an internationally renowned cast of musicians, dancers, performers and fully spirited crew can create a venue to gather as a community and help Japan to restart.

“They need you. We need you. Because YOU are main part of this concert. Let’s create a warm vibration for Japan. Your presence really makes a difference!”
