“Help Iwate, Japan,” a charity concert, will be held Sunday, April 10, at 2 p.m. at a residence in Bel Air.
Musicians from Iwate and Miyagi prefectures, which were hard hit by the earthquake and tsunami, will unite with L.A. performers to show support, love and humanity to the people of Japan.
Taro Wayama (guitar), Thomas Foster (guitar), Robert Elfman (clarinet) and Motoko Honda (piano) will be featured.
Michelin-starred chefs will provide sushi for the event.
Proceeds will go to the Iwate prefectural government.
