‘Rebuild Japan’: Benefit Concert at Pasadena Playhouse


PASADENA — “Rebuild Japan,” a benefit concert, will be held Monday, April 4, at the Pasadena Playhouse, 39 S. El Molino Ave.

Pre-show festivities — raffles, refreshments and music — start at 6:30 p.m. in the Engemann Family Courtyard. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Stars from past Pasadena Playhouse musicals and other luminaries from Los Angeles and Broadway stages come together for one night to help raise monies to rebuild Japan. 100 percent of the net proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.

Performers will include Doug Carpenter, Davis Gaines, Megan McGinnis, Adam Pascal, Jennifer Paz, Valerie Pettiford, James Snyder, Yuka Takara, Lea Thompson, Jennifer Leigh Warren, and JoAnne Worley.
