BEVERLY HILLS — “Feast for the East,” a fundraiser for Japan relief, will be held Wednesday, May 4, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Gonpachi, 134 N. La Cienega Blvd., Beverly Hills.
In an effort to continue support for the people affected by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, [email protected] and Gonpachi have combined their resources to host this special fundraiser to kick off Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. “Please come and show your support for our friends in the East with your friends and family in the West,” organizers said.

Suggested donation: $20. Pay cash or make check payable to American Red Cross with “Japan Relief” on the memo line. Attendees are encouraged to carpool. Valet parking is $3.
