PASADENA — The Pasadena Japanese Cultural Institute’s Annual Bazaar will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The bazaar will feature martial arts demonstrations by the PJCI aikido, kendo, kyudo, naginata, and judo dojos, plenty of good food, as well as a variety of arts and crafts vendors.
The Annual Bazaar is the PJCI’s most important fundraiser of the year. Proceeds benefit the various organizations that use the center and also help to fund the many improvements necessary to maintain it.
In addition to the martial arts groups, member organizations include Pasadena Gakuen Japanese Language School, PJAA Bruins Basketball Organization, Pasadena Nikkei Seniors, Kodama Taiko, and Sogetsu Ikebana.
