SAN JOSE — Mike Inouye, traffic anchor for KNTV Channel 11 (NBC Bay Area), will be returning as the master of ceremonies at Yu-Ai Kai Senior Center’s Crab and Spaghetti Dinner on Feb. 9, 2013 in San Jose.
Inouye has been emcee for the past three years, becoming an iconic part of the agency’s annual event. He is also a familiar face at such events as Mountain View Buddhist Temple’s Obon Festival and the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival’s Senior Appreciation Brunch.
In addition to his television work, Inouye is a professional improv comedian and has been a voice-over talent for Playstation and X-Box games.
The Crab and Spaghetti Dinner is a fundraiser for the 39-year-old senior center located in San Jose’s Japantown. Doors open at 5 p.m. The dinner line closes at 7 p.m., but entertainment continues. Drive-through take-out is available between 4 and 7 p.m.
This year’s entertainment includes Dr. Ron Hirose (aka the Singing Dentist), a silent auction and a no-attendance-required opportunity drawing with a chance to win $1,000.
