cold tofu 2014Join Cold Tofu as it rings in the Lunar New Year with its first comedy improv show of 2014 on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Chapel/Japanese Catholic Center (Maryknoll), 222 S. Hewitt St. (east of Alameda, between Second and Third streets) in Los Angeles.

Don’t miss out on an evening of side-splitting laughs featuring Corinne Chooey, Robert Covarrubias, Jully Lee, Kevin S. Ocampo, Michael Villanueva and Shannon Wong.

Cold Tofu will return to the South Bay on Saturday, March 1, at 7 p.m. at the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute, 1964 W. 162nd St. (between Western and Van Ness) in Gardena.

Cold Tofu also announces its new artistic director, Jully Lee, who began studying with the group in 2004 and became a core performing member in 2008. She succeeds Helen Ota, who stepped down after 19 years of service.
