the huntThis year’s event will feature a multitude of challenges, clues, games and excitement as teams of young adults and families explore Little Tokyo. Based on positive feedback, the event will focus solely on completion of challenges and contests. Participants will be able to explore stations and complete their journeys at their own leisure.

This scavenger hunt will send participants of all ages on a unique journey through the community while integrating numerous local businesses along with Little Tokyo’s important history. Teams will participate in challenges involving visits to businesses and landmarks and receive clues referencing historical figures and events in Little Tokyo.

Maps will be sold on-site for $10 (limited space). There are no restrictions on how many participants per map. Secure a map by registering online at www.kizuna-la.org and receive 10 percent off.

Each map will include an exclusive coupon book featuring special discounts to participating businesses. Visit Kizuna’s Facebook and Instagram for updated information.

“There are a lot of scavenger hunts that take place throughout Los Angeles, but what makes ours really unique is that it’s a community-uniting event that’s fun for the whole family and allows us to highlight why Little Tokyo is such a vibrant place to visit,” said Grant Kai, chair of Kizuna’s The Hunt committee.

Sponsorships are also available for any businesses that may be interested in hosting a challenge, being involved in the scavenger hunt, or simply want to advertise. More details can be found on the Kizuna webpage listed above.
