Hayley Kiyoko is a cast member of “CSI: Cyber,” which airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
The fourth series in the “CSI” franchise, which premiered March 4, stars Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette (“Boyhood”) in a drama inspired by the advanced technological work of real-life cyber psychologist Mary Aiken. Special Agent Avery Ryan heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world.
While other agents search for criminals in dark homes and alleys, Ryan and her team search the “dark net,” a place deep in the bowels of the Web where criminals are anonymous, money is untraceable and where everything is for sale with just a keystroke.
Kiyoko plays Raven Ramirez, a rookie tech who is an expert in social media, cyber trends and international relations.
The show also stars Peter MacNicol as Ryan’s supervisor, Assistant Director Stavros Sifter, the clearinghouse between FBI Cyber and all other branches of government; James Van Der Beek as FBI Agent Elijah Mundo, an expert in battlefield forensics; Charlie Koontz as Daniel Krumitz, an introverted tech genius with a quick wit; and Shad Moss as Brody Nelson, an expat hacker who chose to work for the FBI over a life of cyber-crime.
Kiyoko’s television credits include “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Fosters.” In addition, she starred in the Disney Channel original movie “Lemonade Mouth.”
Her feature film credits include “Insidious: Chapter 3” and “Jem and the Holograms,” set to be released this year.
Kiyoko is also a songwriter and musician. She released her debut EP, “A Belle to Remember,” in 2013 and is following up with her second EP, “This Side of Paradise.”
Born on April 3, 1991 in Los Angeles, where she currently resides, she is the daughter of actor/comedian Jamie Alcroft and figure skater/choreographer Sarah Kawahara.
