TORRANCE — Judd Matsunaga of Elder Law Services of California, based in Torrance, will participate in National Elder Law Month this May by offering free legal advice out of the Torrance Corporate office.
Any senior over 65 years old who makes an appointment will be given a free Durable Power of Attorney for either asset management or health care. Elder Law attorneys also assist in planning for possible long-term care needs, including at-home care, assisted living or nursing home care. Locating the appropriate type of care, qualifying for Medi-Cal benefits and protection of the home and other assets are all part of the Elder Law practice.
Free consultations with an attorney will be provided any Wednesday in May between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1609 Cravens Ave., Torrance. Call Robin at (310) 348-2995 to schedule an appointment.
Attorney Matsunaga, born and raised in Los Angeles, has practiced elder law for 20 years and focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, Medi-Cal planning and asset protection. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the California State Bar Association.
With a growing population of Americans age 65 years or older, the importance of planning for one’s legal needs has become essential.
