Food sales start at 5 p.m. Bon Odori will start at 7 p.m. There will also be a taiko performance.
Remaining dance practices (which are optional) will be held on Monday, Aug. 3, Wednesday, Aug. 5, and Thursday, Aug. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in SACBC’s Sangha Hall.
On Sunday, Aug. 9, SACBC will conduct its annual Obon/Hatsubon services for departed loved ones. Hatsubon is for those who have passed since the last Obon. Guest speaker will be Rev. Kodo Umezu, bishop of Buddhist Churches of America.
