Carl K. Doi, the son of Masaru and Satoru Doi, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2013 at the age of 91. He was born in 1922 in California and had been a longtime resident of Gardena. Carl is survived by his loving wife, May Doi; sons, Ron (Marion), Kevin (Sheri) and Conrad Doi; 2 grandchildren, Trisha Doi and Justin Doi; brother, Shig (Yoshiko) Doi; and nephew, Roger Takiguchi. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, with an interment site service to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
