Carroll ÒButchÓ Shoji, age 71, passed away on Dec. 13, 2014, predeceased by his wife Adeline Mae Shoji.
Beloved father of Leslie (Steve) Johnson, Jeremy (Shan) Shoji, and Noelle (Eddie) Degerman; loving grandfather of Kai (9), Nicholas (6), Emiko (2), Kenzo (1), and Rylie (1). Butch is also survived by his mother, Janet Shoji, sister-in-laws Mary Shoji, Georgia Tagawa, June Ushijima, and many nieces and nephews.
Butch dedicated 35 years to the field of aerospace as a buyer for Boeing. He was an avid sports fan and dedicated USC alum, attending football games for more than 30 years.
Funeral services for Butch Shoji will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at 11 a.m., at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. Burial services to follow immediately after.
