Hatsuki Yano passed away on February 25, 2019 at the age of 88. She was born in Pasadena on April 3, 1930 and was a long time resident of Torrance, California. She worked at Sanyo in the South Bay for many years. She is survived by daughters Carolyn (Bill) Morris, Gayle Yano, son Robert (Lupe) Yano. Grandchildren Rosa, William and Kami. She is preceded in death by her husband John Yano and daughter Nancy Yano. Hatsuki was interned during WWII in Manzanar Internment Camp. She was known for crocheting and pumpkin pies. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 7th, 2019 from 4-8pm in The Cove suite of Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. The funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Friday March 8th, 2019 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by interment.
