Kazuo Morikawa, 95, of Gardena, Calif., passed away peacefully on January 24, 2021. Born in Brawley, Calif., he graduated from Woodbury University. Kaz served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Mitsui for 16 years, and then spent 15 years as president of Goneen International. Kaz and his loving wife, Aki, were married for 60 years. They shared a passion for fishing and travel.

Kaz is survived by his loving family: nieces Leslie Kanno, Janet Tanizaki, Paula Lum, Joanne Yoshimine-Griess, Carol Yoshimine, and Susie Baca; nephews Brent and Scott Hayashi, Steve and Glenn Nakazono, and Wesley Morikawa. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Aki, brother Kiyo Morikawa, sisters Hideko Nakazono, Miyo Hayashi, Yuri Yoshimine, Sue Kanno, and Harumi Saavedra, nephews Mark Hayashi and Tony Baca, and niece Carolyn Kanno.
