Funeral service for the late Masao Paul Hayashi, 91-year-old Stockton, Calif.-born Nisei, resident of Torrance who passed away on Dec. 18, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 West 166th St., Gardena, CA 90247, with Rev. Alan Sakamoto of Orange County Buddhist Church officiating.
He is survived by his loving wife, Chiyoko Hayashi; daughters, Kathy Jo, Laura Ann and Sharon Lee Hayashi; granddaughter, Kimberly Michelle Guerrero; siblings, Fusako Grace Warner, Fumio Fred (Marion), Yoshikazu Hayashi and Yoshiko Lilyan (Matsuo) Nitta; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
