Funeral service for Michio Kawashima, 74-year-old, Tokyo, Japan-born resident of La Palma who passed away on Feb. 5, 2012 at his residence, will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, from 2 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel In the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Fumie Kawashima; daughters, Joyce Naoye Kawashima and Lynn Michiye Azpeitia; granddaughter, Athena Yuko Azpeitia; and other relatives.
