Mrs. Mitsuko Higashi, 94, San Pedro, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 26, 2015.
She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Ayako Kathy Kubota; grandson, Brian Seiji (Lisa) Kubota; and great-grandson, Brysen Kubota.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes.
