Private service for the late Mitsuru Takeuchi, 83-year-old, San Pedro, Calif.-born, resident of Rancho Palos Verdes who passed away peacefully at Torrance Memorial Medical Center on March 7, was held on Tuesday, March 15, 11 a.m., at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” with Rev. Shuichi Kurai of Montebello Sozenji officiating.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Keiko Takeuchi; daughter, Amy Noriko (Glenn Yoshikazu) Takahashi; grandchildren, Kelli Maki and Troy Koichi Takahashi; brother, Akira (Echiko) Takeuchi of Japan also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here, and in Japan.
