April 2 —The So-Phis of Orange County, a social and philanthropic organization comprised of Asian American women, will host their annual 53rd Annual Fashion Show and Boutique on Saturday, April 2, at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers.
Anticipated guest emcees are ABC7 Eyewitness News Co-anchor, David Ono, and ABC7 Eyewitness News Health Specialist, Denise Dador. Ono is on assignment in Japan with up-to-date coverage on the massive earthquake and tsunami’s aftermath and radiation concerns.
Dazzling the fashion runway will be designs from Citron, M. Yearsley, Narumi, Nutmeg and Oyako.
American Airlines has generously donated the coveted raffle prize of first class travel for two anywhere within the continental United States, Bermuda, Bahamas, Canada, Caribbean or Mexico.
So-Phis co-chairs, Joy Chiya and Debbie Chiya, extend their appreciation to all the help who make this happen. It takes a team of quiet volunteers that enables them to make donations to deserving groups.
A well-attended shopper’s arts and crafts boutique that is open to the public starts at 9:30 a.m. Dining room doors open at 11:30, with luncheon served at 12 noon. Ticket cost is $65.
