Memorial service for the late Shigeko Oshita, 89-year-old Los Angeles-born resident who passed away peacefully on April 7, 2011, will be held on Monday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tadashi Ben Oshita. Survived by her children, Thomas (Candace) Oshita, and Catharine Oshita; grandchildren, Gregory Oshita and Courtney (Eric) Higuchi; brothers, Mits (Nobuko) Kawamoto and Sho (Ikuko) Kawamoto; sister, Nobuko Fujimoto; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
