Funeral service for the late Shizue Tanaka, 95-year-old, Seattle, Wash.-born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on Aug. 18, 2012, will be held on Monday, Aug. 27, 10:30 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., L.A.
Predeceased by her husband Hiroto and son, Shozo (Tsutako); she is survived by her children, Hiroshi (Midori), Bessie, and Roy (Susan) Tanaka; grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, Kevin (Twyla), Karen (John Hung) Tanaka, Kristen (Steve) Gani, and Allison Tanaka; great-granddaughter, Khloe Gani; brother, Koso (Momoko) Kanemoto; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives here, in Germany and in Japan.
