Memorial service for Steven Gregory Yano, 62, a Chicago-born Sansei who passed away on Sept. 17 at the Beverly Hospital after an unfortunate accident, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, 12 p.m. at the Evergreen Baptist Church San Gabriel Valley, 323 Workman Mill Road, La Puente. Guests are welcome to start arriving at 11 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Tigers Youth Club, c/o 2326 Cherrygate Way, Hacienda Heights, CA 91745.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Sheri and Stephanie; mother, Ukie; sisters, Christine (Harry) Gunther and Leslie (Elie) Maeda; and many nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
