On Sept. 13, 2010, Toshiye Okura passed away peacefully in her sleep
at the age of 92 in Fountain Valley, Calif. She was preceded in death
by her late husband, Mikio Okura. Toshiye is survived by her 3 sons
and their wives, David and Joyce Okura, Ted and Pat Okura and Gary
and Frances Okura; daughter and husband, Janice and Wilbur Shigehara;
7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Chiye
Hashimoto and Yoshie Ohori.
A family funeral service was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park on
Saturday, Sept. 18 for the family.
